Our office accepts checks (payable to North Thurston Public Schools) and cash during regulars business hours.

How do I sign into the payment portal?
Visit http://payments.nthurston.k12.wa.us and log into the portal with your Skyward Family Access login (contact your student's school to obtain). For guardians with multiple students in the district, you will see all of your students with your one login. Once you've selected your student, the shopping experience will be specific to that student.
If you change your Skyward Family Access password for any reason, the payment portal will continue to use the original password. If you would like to keep the passwords the same, you will need to manually change your payment portal password to match your new Skyward Family Access password.

How do I add lunch money to my student's lunch account?
Once logged in, click the YOUR FAMILY button. Select a student from your list. On the right of the page, select ITEMS AT STUDENT'S SCHOOL, then choose FOOD SERVICES. From here, you can enter the amount you would like to pay and select BUY. Continue to Checkout, or select YOUR FAMILY in the upper left to add lunch money to another student's account. Food Service payments made by 10:00 am are available for same-day student use.
Can I set up recurring payments to a lunch account?
There is a way to set up recurring payments on a schedule basis. Please follow these steps:
- Select your student.
- Click on Recurring Purchases.
- Click on the Add button at the top left-hand side.
- Select the item in the item drop-down on the right-hand side.
- Choose the frequency such as weekly or monthly.

I have a fine on my student's account. Why?
If there is a fine on your account, certain items may be restricted for purchase until the fine(s) are paid. There are many reasons why your student may have a fine. The most common reasons are:
- A student lost or damaged a library book or textbook.
- A class fee wasn't paid.
- A student damaged school property.
- A student didn't pay a field trip fee, a club due, etc., on time.
Fee Waiver for those that Qualify for Free & Reduced meals: You may have reduced or eliminated school & district fees! Once you've filled out your Free & Reduced Lunch application, visit the Online Forms item in the Skyward menu for access to the Fee Reduction Consent Form. Once you've filled it out, our office staff will take it from there!
My login doesn't work, what do I do?
There is an item my student wants to purchase, but I don't see it.
Your school's web store offers many items to parents and students, but there are certain items that may require a form to be filled out, or other handling, or the item is only available at a certain time. Check with your school's office for more information, and check back in the web store often for updates!
I've signed in, now what?
Once you've logged in, you'll see all your students displayed in your student list, including yourself. Your record is displayed so you can purchase using your own account. You may wish to donate to a club/activity!
-
Fines and/or Fees may be present on your student's account. If your student has a fine/fee on their account, you will see a RED notification window — this is your key to look at, and pay, any fines or fees assessed to your student's account. Selecting the VIEW button will display the details specific to your student.
-
ITEMS AT STUDENTS SCHOOL is where you'll go to browse items available to your student for purchase. Once you've selected items in the webstore, you can view/edit your cart, or proceed to checkout.
-
PURCHASE HISTORY is where you can track your purchase history. This allows you to confirm prior purchases or confirm payment was delivered by your student to the building.
-
REPRINT RECEIPTS allows you to print a single receipt rather than your full payment history.
